An Artist formerly trained as a painter I’m attracted to bold color, rich textures and soft ethereal gestures to tell love stories with flowers. As a destination florist I service New York City, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Atlanta & New Orleans for Weddings & Events, but am happy to travel anywhere my shears take me. Born and raised in the rural South I left for New York City after college and discovered (almost ironically) in the concrete maze a passion for flowers. Impressionable moments in the city’s gardens planted a seed and a mild curiosity grew into wild passion and a new artistic means of expression formed around everything flower.
NOW in my 9th year working with flowers I’m elated to share their joy with you be it for a spectacular event, photo collaboration, or heartfelt gift. My floral design company Ephemera draws upon the other-worldly beauty of flowers. Informed by Ikebana, Art History and the Old Master Painters of the Dutch Golden Era. Mused by the raw and humbling power of Nature...
